Pinpoint restrictions should be revised in terms of effectiveness. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia at the session of the Interagency Coordination Council, which was held via video conferencing.
“We should properly arrange home treatment, COVID hotels, and hospitalization. These are our critical points that we need to go through.
First – of course, reducing the hospitalization rate to 15%, unequivocally.
Second – the introduction of therapeutic management elements in COVID hotels and having home treatment with primary health care. Facial masks, self-isolation, and rapid antigen testing are the tools that should help us to overcome this crisis.
The pinpoint restrictions should be revised in terms of effectiveness. The situation is getting worse in Europe as well, and the only criterion everywhere is not to overload the hospital system”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
