Ministry of Internal Affairs seized more than 6 kg of “Heroin” – one person detained

The officers of the Central Criminal Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained A.K. (DoB 1985) in Vakiri village, Signagi municipality for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.

Committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or lifetime imprisonment.

As a result of the search activities held in detainee’s vehicle, law enforcers seized 6 kg and 500 gr of “Heroin” drug as evidence.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
