The President of Georgia hosted the NATO Strategic Military Partnership Conference.

The delegation was headed by NATO Supreme Commander the French Air Force General. After the meeting, the reception for senior officials and experts from NATO member and partner countries was held.

The President addressed the delegation with a speech. The representatives of the Georgian Armed Forces received the awards.

"This is the people"s choice to deepen cooperation and to arrive at its logical end, which means Georgia"s accession to NATO," - Margvelashvili said.

The meeting was attended by the country"s Defense Minister, who handed a symbolic gift to the president - a national flag from the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.
