"Absence of diplomatic relations, official Tbilisi`s refusal to abolition the status of the occupied territories, the course for the European Union and NATO integration are hindering the process of establishing of proper connection between Russia and Georgia," -said the report published by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Among the main achievements in improving relationships the document mentions - lifting ban on Georgian products, air trafficrestoration and participation of Georgian sportsmen in the Sochi Olympic Games.

Georgia-Russia relations were a part of the Foreign Ministry"s annual report.
