As of today, 3 128 new cases of COVID-19 are confirmed within the last 24 hours. It was announced by Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council at a press-briefing held today at the Government Administration.

“Since the detection of the first case the total number of infected has reached 111 818.

3 045 individuals have recovered within the last 24 hours, thus making the total number of recoveries reach 92 215.

Unfortunately, 39 new fatal cases have occurred within the last 24 hours. Since February 26, 2020 the total death toll has reached 1 051.

Out of 3 128 new cases detected today, geographic coverage of COVID-19 is as follows: 1 504 cases have been detected in Tbilisi, 576 - in Adjara, 212 - in Imereti, 129 - in Kvemo Kartli, 101 - in Shida Kartli, 87 - in Guria, 189 - in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, 116 - in Kakheti, 105 - in Mtskheta-Mtianeti, 97 - in Samtskhe-Javakheti and 12 - in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti.

At present, active cases of COVID-19 have reached 18 526, out of which 6 192 individuals are treated at hospitals, out of which 2 734 are stationed in Tbilisi, 1 036 - in Adjara and 1 239 - in Imereti. Currently, acute health conditions are observed in the case of 932 patients, out of which 457 are based in Tbilisi, 154 - in Adjara and 206 - in Imereti. Lung ventilators are used in the case of 413 patients, out of which 203 are stationed in Tbilisi, 108 - in Adjara and 41 - in Imereti. 3 739 individuals are placed at COVID Hotels, out of which 1 146 are based in Tbilisi, 2 013 - in Adjara and 262 - in Imereti. 8 595 individuals are treated at home.

2 102 individuals are placed in quarantine, out of which 435 are located in Tbilisi, 1 077 - in Adjara and 33 - in Imereti.

In total, 17 652 individuals have been transported from the sovereign border to quarantine spaces in the period of October 6 through November 23, 2020.

At present, 53 352 individuals are in self-isolation, out of which 16 938 are based in Tbilisi, 14 779 - in Adjara and 5 243 - in Imereti" announced Berdia Sichinava.
