The issue of opening so-called field hospitals is not under consideration. Such a statement made today the Minister of Health.

“We are not discussing an issue of opening of such hospitals. There are examples of several countries where said hospitals or tents remain opened, and despite the countries having already passed the peak of the second wave, patients have not yet been provided with medical care in them. If we, in compliance with all components, succeed in the timely and effective management of patient flow, we have sufficient resources to provide patients with more comfortable conditions under doctors’ observation… We have clinics, hotels and we are adding additional hospitals”, - added Ekaterine Tikaradze.
