“There is positive expectation especially under the background that the officials in the new U.S. Administration always supported strengthening of NATO that is important for our country.

Georgia should be ready for being maximally engaged in future negotiations. It is welcoming that the report prepared by NATO’s Group of Experts directly says that NATO’s negotiations with Georgia should be transformed onto a different level that can be interpreted as the urge for assigning the MAP.

I cannot say precisely if this happens, future will show, but I am sure that NATO-Georgia relations will become closer and more dynamic during the next 4 years”, - said Khelashvili.
