We have fundamental differences regarding snap elections and political prisoners. Such a statement made today Davit Bakradze, one of the leaders of European Georgia, after the end of the fourth round of dialogue between the opposition and the Government.

“The facilitators asked again to provide minimal information, so I will take into account this request and will not talk about the position of the Georgian Dream. I can voice the main course of negotiations. There are 4 main issues in the negotiations that are important for us.

The first issue is related to the appointment of early elections, the second is the issue of political prisoners, the third is the change of the electoral system, the fourth is the change in the Electoral Code, which will change the electoral environment. We have fundamental differences regarding the first two issues and cannot see resources for an agreement. European Georgia will not enter the Parliament without the resolution of these issues”, - said Davit Bakradze.
