The study process will resume remotely in 10 cities and the Adjara region of Georgia from January 18, said today the Deputy Minister of Education Ekaterine Dgebuadze during a briefing.
“In particular, according to the order of Education Minister, online studies will resume in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Telavi, Zugdidi, Zestaphoni, Gori, Poti, Marneuli and Gardabani.
The schools in Ajara region will also continue the study process remotely.
Those schools, where the study process will continue in classrooms from the second semester of the academic year, are provided with non-contact thermometers, disinfection barriers, and special liquids and face masks. If coronavirus cases are revealed, the Health Ministry will impose location restrictions.
All other schools are prepared to meet the renewal of the semester and all these schools will start the learning process in the classroom”, - added Dgebuadze.
