The President of Georgia met European Council President Charles Michel and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.

Michel tweeted after the meeting that “EU’s support to Georgia’s territorial integrity is unwavering”. He added that the 27-member bloc stands by Georgia in its fight against COVID-19 pandemic and to “deepen reforms”.

Salome Zourabichvili said “the support we’ve received from the EU since the beginning of COVID proves that solidarity is the best way out of this global challenge,” adding that “we seek that same solidarity now that the world has access to vaccines”.
