If the positivity rate falls below 4% in Tbilisi in the next week, we should consider the opening of municipal transport. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
“As soon as the positivity rate in the country, city, or region falls below 4%, of course, we can accelerate the opening plan that we have already presented. For example, if the positivity rate falls below 4% in Tbilisi in the next week, we should talk about the opening of municipal transport more quickly, as well as the opening of certain sectors of the economy.
So, the cause-and-effect relationship is extremely important and all this should be consistent, balanced and gradual, but of course the ultimate goal is a quick recovery of the economy”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
