Locals in Ozurgeti protested the construction of the aluminum processing plant in Ekadia settlement.

As they said, the construction of the plant will put their health at hazard and endanger the environment.

Shavleg Migriauli, the Executive Director of the Arersa Metal Company, denied the accusations. According to him, the plant would be constructed in line with the international standards.

The representatives of the NGOs also joined the protest
