The head of the Kakheti Regional Police Department has resigned. The information is already confirmed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to Kurieri, 38-year-old Zurab Berikashvili will continue working as the head of the Central Narcology Division in Tbilisi.

The agency has not yet specified who will replace Berikashvili.
