Regional and Black Sea security environment and aspects of bilateral military cooperation were the main issues discussed by the leaders of the Georgian and Ukrainian defense forces during a meeting at the NATO Military Committee in Brussels.

In a conversation with Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili stressed the importance of long-term practical cooperation between the Georgian and Ukrainian Defense Forces and expressed hope that military relations would deepen in the future.

They also focused on bilateral cooperation in the field of military education.
