The Ukrainian Ombudsman speaks about corruption existing in the country’s Territorial Recruitment Centers.

In an interview with “Ukrainska Pravda”, Dmytro Lubinets said that citizens are being helped to leave the country in exchange for USD 50-70 thousand. They are directly offered transport abroad right from the bus.

According to him, corruption cases are most frequently recorded in western Ukraine, specifically in Zakarpattia. Lubinets also noted that according to information at his disposal, the position of a Head of a Territorial Recruitment Center cost an average of USD 50 000.
