The Russian parliamentary delegation arrived on a working visit to Tskhinvali. A delegation led by the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev and also includes senators Crym Kazanokov and Oleg Seleznev, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Kazbek Taysayev, and the staff member of the Federation Council Mikhail Sinitsin.

Russia delegation will hold a number of meetings in occupied region. They intend to discuss the issues of bilateral cooperation and the situation in general.

During the first meeting de-facto leader Anatoly Bibilov expressed the hope that “parliamentary ties will revive after a short pause caused by the pandemic, and that the tasks of developing interpersonal and inter-parliamentary relations will be developing”.
