Confrontation in front of Kutaisi City Hall - 6 people were detained

6 people were detained during the confrontation between the protesters and police in front of the Kutaisi City Hall.

The rally organizers accuse local authorities of inaction and making corrupt deals. They demand a meeting with Kutaisi Mayor Ioseb Khakhaleishvili. They tried to enter the City Hall, which led to a physical confrontation between them and law enforcement.

Tensions were damped down later. The situation is calm at the moment. Activists and law enforcers remain on the ground.
