The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri held a working meeting with the leadership of the Adjara Police Department. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Vladimer Bortsvadze.

Vakhtang Gomelauri congratulated the newly appointed head of the Adjara Police Department - Police Colonel Avtandil Galdava on his appointment to the new position and wished him further success.

Vakhtang Gomelauri got familiarized with measures regarding the fight against crime and preventive activities held by police leadership in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and the city of Batumi.

At the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs discussed with the police employees the priority directions of the agency and gave them the relevant instructions related to the work process.
