There is no basis for an artificially created political crisis. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
“We had a very successful visit in Brussels, we had high-level meetings in both the EU and NATO. We had a very successful discussion about all the reforms, the progress that we have all achieved together. It should be noted that this reform, this progress that we have presented, is acknowledged by all, so I want to thank everyone and all the public officials who are involved in the implementation of the Association Agreement.
We have heard the High Representative, Vice President Josep Borrell’s assessment about the political reality and situation in Georgia, and we have heard their assessments of our elections, which as they say is, of course, free, fair and competitive.
Therefore, I want to reiterate that there is no basis for an artificially created political crisis. I would like to once again call on all parties that we should find a solution within the constructive dialogue as soon as possible to return the country to normal political life and continue focusing on big challenges like the pandemic, economic problems in the country, unemployment, occupation, and so on. Especially against the background of the complicated security environment in the region”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
