Photo and information spread by Sandro Bregadze is fake news – the MIA

The photo and information disseminated by the leader of the "Georgian March" is fake news. Such a statement released the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Sandro Bregadze, one of the leaders of the Georgian March, published a photo showing a group of people with Azerbaijani flags and wrote: “This new photo shows an excursion of Azerbaijani students in Davit Gareji! There is an armed army inside and outside the temples. In response to all this - our government is silent and asleep”.

According to the MIA, this information is fake.

“It is a lie as if Azerbaijani students are going on excursions in Davit Gareji. As for the photo that Sandro Bregadze attached to his post, it was taken about a year ago on the territory of Azerbaijan, 3 km from the borderline, in the Heydar Aliyev Reserve, opened in 2020 by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev”, - reads the statement of the Ministry.
