“Despite certain remarks made by senators and State Department officials, the main message from the U.S. is that our partnership continues, Georgia continues on the Euro-Atlantic path, and the U.S. supports Georgia in implementing the democratic reforms needed to achieve this goal.

It is very important that the U.S. and the EU stand by Georgia and support us in overcoming the current political crisis. The United States and the European Union share the report of the OSCE/ ODIHR, according to which the parliamentary elections in Georgia were held in a competitive environment, with fundamental rights being protected.

The U.S. and the EU need a more stable and democratic Georgia as a strong and reliable partner in a challenging region.
