The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Georgia - Akbar Ghasemi Aliabadi.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the start of his diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished success in future activities.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of law enforcement and perspectives of further development of existing relations.
