St. Nicholas Church temporarily closed in Batumi, Adjara

Saint Nicholas Church in Batumi has been temporarily closed. According to the Diocese of Batumi and Lazeti, the coronavirus has been confirmed to the head of the temple and several other clerics.

Disinfection works will be carried out in the temple.

“The church will be closed before Saturday evening prayers”, - reads the statement of the Diocese of Batumi and Lazeti.
