The prosecutor"s office asked the municipal services to provide the documentation related to the construction of a new road in Saburtalo. According to the newspaper "Weekly Palitra" the documentation did not contained no geological expertise.

The former City Hall officials and the author of the project did not confirm this information. Irakli Abesadze, a former employee of the City Hall, speaks about political speculation.

"There is several geological conclusions in the project. The Georgia"s prosecutor"s office has already received them, therefore the whole situation looks like an attempt to score political points," - says Irakli Abesadze.

Tamaz Shalikadze, the author of the project has claimed that the project has passed geological expertise. As Shilakadze told "The Courier" the project draft was presented with ecological and geological conclusions. He plans the publication of this document in the near future.
