People over the age of 55 will be vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine. Such a statement made today the Deputy Minister of Health.

“The Board of Experts had a discussion with the staff of the Ministry and the National Center for Disease Control and recommended the continuation of vaccination with AstraZeneca for the age group above 55, whether it is a high-risk group or any other group due to the presence of chronic disease or its affiliations.

AstraZeneca vaccination program will continue in the age group over 55, as it is still going on, further expansion by age group will not happen with AstraZeneca at this stage”, - said Tamar Gabunia.
