President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held today a telephone conversation.
Georgian leader expressed concern over the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border and in Crimea and expressed solidarity to Ukraine.
She underlined the need for Ukraine to withstand provocations and noted that it was necessary to move in the direction of our common security, which is Euro-Atlantic integration.
Zourabichvili and Zelensky agreed to use the forthcoming visit of the President of Georgia to Ukraine to work on the above issues.
The leaders also talked about the importance of security in the Black Sea and the need to present joint goals of Georgia and Ukraine at the NATO-EU summit.
