TbilisiInternationalAirport may be named after Shota Rustaveli. The initiative was positively assessed by the City Council .

At the joint  session the representative of Untied National Movement (UNM) Sevdia Ugrekhelidze initiated to name the airport after the first president of Georgia, but the chairman of the  Education and Culture Committee, Tamar Taliashvili underlined that the name shouldn"t be associated with "divided Georgia."

 The sitting on the issue should be held tomorrow.
