People protesting against the construction of Namakhvani HPP set up tents in the Republic Square in Tbilisi.

As they said, the Government is given time to meet our demands till today, before 12:00.

Varlam Goletiani, one of the organizers of the rally, underlined that if their demands are not met, they will paralyze the capital.

“We will go everywhere and start systemic work. It will shake the system and the government will have to pay high price. The decision is up to them. We will protect public problems. We must see the systemic face of the system in this local problem”, - added Goletiani.

ENKA pledges to be ready to continue discussions over the Namakhvani HPP project with all interested parties.

“We should use all opportunities for dialogue so that no problematic questions remain unanswered and based on facts or arguments, we can assure you that the Namakhvani HPP project is a Georgian affair that serves the well-being of Rioni Valley residents and the whole country”, - reads the statement of the company.
