The President of Turkey congratulates the Prime Minister of Georgia and the Georgian people on Independence Day

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wishes Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili a Happy Independence Dayof Georgia.

The President of Turkey, in his congratulatory letter, expresses his faith that the friendship, close neighborly relations, and strategic cooperation between the two nations will continue in the future.

“On behalf of the Turkish people and my own, I wholeheartedly wish Your Excellency and the Georgian people a Happy Independence Day.

I am confident that, based on the friendship and interests sharedby our nations, our growing close neighborly relations and strategic partnership will continue in the future, to make a tremendous contribution to regional peace, stability, and prosperity”, - the Turkish President’s letter reads.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcome’s the Georgian Prime Minister’s visit to Turkey on June 1.

“I am happy that, during your visit to our country on June 1, 2021, we will have an opportunity to discuss our bilateral relations and regional developments alike.

Your Excellency, I avail myself of this opportunity to wish health and happiness to you, and prosperity to the friendly Georgia people”, - the Turkish President’s congratulatory letter reads.
