Price of natural gas increased in Tbilisi

The price of natural gas increased in Tbilisi by 8 tetri from today, June 1.

According to the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, the tariff increase was caused by a USD 20 million debt that the Tbilisi Energy gas supply company faces.

A price of natural gas in Tbilisi was 46.153 tetri per m3. Starting from today, the tariff is 54 tetri per cubic meter of gas.

The new price will be in force until January 1, 2023.
