The faction Lelo - Partnership for Georgia initiates the establishment of an anti-corruption commission.
“In the conditions of the ruling party, nepotism and corruption are deeply rooted in the country. It is a disease that stops the progress of Georgia, kills hope in the country, prevents a dramatic inflow of investments into the country and development of the economy, so we are have this initiative.
I want to thank all the non-governmental organizations, MPs, former MPs, as well as representatives of the organizations that took an active part in the drafting of this bill and international organizations that have financially supported this bill.
Besides, the Lelo has an initiative of establishing an anti-corruption commission in the Parliament, which will give a very clear answer to the public about who is stealing the budget in Georgia, what schemes are working in the country. We are waiting for the opposition parties to enter the legislature and this will be a fight that will lead to victory”, - said Mamuka Khazaradze, the leadr of Lelo.
