Human Rights Committee committee supported a proposal alternative to Khachirdze`s initiative .

The initiative regards marijuana decriminalization. according to which the use of marijuana is punishable with an administrative fine or community service.

The punishment envisaging up to one year of imprisonment will no longer be used. The draft discussion lasted for 4 hours.
