The NATO summit to be held in Brussels today, June 14. One of the topics to be discussed will be Georgia.
According to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is important that the issue of Georgia is included in the part of the summit agenda that supports international rule-based order.
“The final document will be adopted at the summit. The Georgian side expects that the communiqué will adequately reflect Georgia’s progress on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration, affirm NATO’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, focus on the difficult humanitarian and security environment in the occupied territories”, - reads the statement of the MFA.
