The Ministry of Internal Affairs is launching the dismantling of security metal barricades near the village of Gumati in Tskaltubo Municipality.

Police officers will be deployed in Gumati and Rioni gorge due to security measures taken on site and will maintain public order.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs, as the agency responsible for ensuring rule of law and order calls on citizens opposing the construction of Namakhvani hydro power plant to follow the requirements of the law during the assembly and expression and adhere to the rightful requests of the police. In case of exposing any fact of violation, the police will act in full compliance of the law and respond to each similar cases accordingly.
