More than 400 cases of tourists being infected with coronavirus have been registered in Georgia during the last month. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center for Disease Control.

“I can’t tell you whether the increase in cases is related to the Delta strain. It is connected with more mobility, with more people entering, including in terms of the Delta Strain. 7 more cases were confirmed yesterday. In addition, I informed the Council today that we have more than 400 cases of tourists being infected and then isolated. Increased mobility is one of the risk factors for the spread of infection”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
