The President of Georgia met with the President of the French Republic within the framework of a working visit to Paris.
Salome Zourabichvili and Emmanuel Macron discussed the intensification and development of bilateral political and economic relations between the two countries, the ongoing processes in the region, the EU role in the region and Black Sea security issues.
They also talked about the resumption of the Dimitri Amilakhvari French-Georgian Dialogue, signed by the two Presidents in Paris in February 2019, which covers key aspects of bilateral relations between Georgia and France.
The President of Georgia briefed Emmanuel Macron on the dire humanitarian situation in the occupied territories of Georgia, human rights violations by the occupation regime and kidnappings.
