The condition of 3 newborns infected with the COVID-19 placed in the Tsitsishvili Children’s Clinic is stable. As the medical director of the clinic, Maia Chkhaidze, said, all of them are on artificial respiration.

“The general condition of these patients remains steadily severe, all 3 are on managed breathing. A newborn transferred from occupied Abkhazia has tested positive for the Delta variant. The child has particularly severe condition. There are no changes in the parameters and laboratory tests at this stage”, - added Maia Chkhaidze.
