The Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting a forensic - medical examination within the frames of the ongoing investigation into the death of Aleksandre Lashkarava, the cameraman of “TV Pirveli”.

“The Ministry offered family members an independent and international expert of their choice to be involved in the forensic examination.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs once again expresses its readiness to engage international experts in the ongoing investigation in order to establish the objective truth. In addition to the mentioned, the law enforcement agency is ready to enable the international examination of the obtained samples in the relevant laboratories abroad”, - reads the statement.
