72 cases of Delta strain of coronavirus confirmed in Georgia. Such a statement made today the Deputy Minister of Health.

“I want to emphasize that we have mobilized pediatric beds for the past two or three days, which indicates a high rate of infection in children.

Up to 200 pediatric beds have been mobilized in Tbilisi, which was unloaded during the second or third wave of the epidemic, they have already been overloaded, and we had to mobilize additional beds. The risks of spreading the infection are increasing.

The epidemic situation is very serious and poses special risks to the health of the population and the development of the social and any other process in general”, - said Tamar Gabunia.
