The visit of the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to Tbilisi ends today. Before leaving Georgia, Rik Daems plans to hold meetings in the Ministries of Interior and Justice, as well as in Parliament.
He has already met Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava, as well as lawmakers of the ruling and opposition parties.
At the meetings the President of PACE discussed the local elections, July 5-6 violence and the implementation of the EU-brokered April 19 deal.
