We are ready to call early elections not only with 43%, but even with 53% of votes received. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Georgian Dream.
“We want to point out that establishing a healthy tradition of coalition government and shifting responsibilities to other political parties is the best European practice, and the Georgian Dream only supports and welcomes this.
Therefore, we are ready to call snap elections even if we get 53% instead of 43% of votes, if we learn from the behavior of opposition political parties that our political system is mature for effective coalition Government and such a regime will not hurt the state interests.
This will be our good will and we will call early elections in accordance with the constitutional practice established in developed European democracies”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
