Vato Shakarishvili submitted the signatures of his supporters to the Saburtalo District Election Commission, on the basis of which he will register as an independent candidate in the self-government elections.

According to Shakarishvili, the population needs an independent, party-free representative in the City Council, who will principly protect the interests of the society.
