The President of Georgia expresses gratitude to Hungary for helping evacuate six Georgian citizens from Kabul.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude to Hungary for helping evacuate six Georgian citizens out of Kabul. This show of solidarity and partnership in this difficult time is very important. I’m confident that the remaining Georgians in Kabul will come back home safe very soon”, - tweeted Salome Zourabichvili.

16 more citizens of Georgia remain in Kabul. According to the Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, the Georgian side does its utmost to bring them back home.
