Samegrelo police solved the case of murder in Chkhorotsku - 1 person arrested

The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained R.K. (DoB 1992), as a result of operative-investigative activities for premeditated murder.

The committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on August 23 of the current year, in one of the villages of Chkhorotskhu municipality, R.K. inflicted multiple body injuries with a cold steel to M.M. (DoB1993) and his brother- A.M. (DoB 1996) on the basis of conflict.

The injured persons were transferred to the hospital where A.M. died as a result of sustained injuries.

Police arrested R. K. shortly after the incident.

Investigation is underway on the fact of premeditated murder, Article 108 under the Criminal Code of Georgia.
