One person detained for inflicting minor health injury to under-aged family member

The officers of Juvenile Affairs Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the of Ministry of Internal Affairs detained V.Ch. (DoB 1984) in Tbilisi, as a result of operative and investigative activities for inflicting minor health injury to under-aged family member.

The committed crime envisaged from 2 to 4 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on August 26 of the current year, the detainee inflicted minor health injury on purpose to his nephew - N.F. (DoB 2003) with a cold steel on the grounds of conflict.

Police arrested V.Ch. as a result of immediate police activities.

The investigation is in progress under Article 120, Part I, Subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which stipulates inflicting minor health injury on purpose to under-aged family member.
