The Georgian Dream published the results of an intra-party sociological survey conducted in Tbilisi.
According to the survey, 47.7% of respondents would support the Georgian Dream and 25.2% would support the United National Movement, if local elections were held tomorrow. If the Tbilisi mayoral elections were held tomorrow, 60.1% of the respondents would vote for Kakha Kaladze and 29.2% for Nika Melia.
To a question, which political party would you vote for if local elections were held tomorrow, the answers were as follows: Georgian Dream - 47.4%; United National Movement - 25.2%; Girchi - for More Freedom - 4.9%; For Georgia - 4.7%; Citizens - 3.2%; Lelo - 2.4%; Alliance of Patriots: -1.9%; European Georgia -1.8%; Strategy Builder - 1.7%; Girchi - 1.1%; Labor Party - 0.7%; United Georgia - 0.7%; other parties - 4.3%.
According to these data, 40 seats of Tbilisi City Council members would be distributed among the parties as follows: Georgian Dream - 22 seats; UNM - 12 seats, Girchi - More Freedom - 2 mandates, For Georgia - 2 mandates and Citizens -2 mandates.
Field work of the sociological survey was conducted from August 21 to 25 through face-to-face interviews. 2958 respondents were interviewed and 79.2% of the respondents named their favorite parties. The margin of error is 3%.
