The Minister of Internal Affairs, Vakhtang Gomelauri held meeting with the Public Defender - Nino Lomjaria. The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Shalva Bedoidze, the Deputy Minister - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and the Deputy Ombudsman - Giorgi Burjanadze.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing processes in the pre-election period and reviewed the recent incidents.

The Minister of Internal Affairs and the Public Defender expressed their readiness for active cooperation in order to share information and make quick response on the possible violations during the election period.
