Lawyers arrived at Rustavi prison to meet with Mikheil Saakashvili

Lawyers arrived at Rustavi prison a few minutes ago. They will meet with the former President of Georgia.

As Dimitri Sadzaglishvili, one of the lawyers, said, the penitentiary institution had not allowed human rights defenders to visit Mikheil Saakashvili because of the non-working hours up to now.

“But today we will have the opportunity to meet him. I think this was not a standard case when lawyers should have been refused to visit the third President, as he was detained during non-working hours and his right of defense”, - added Dimitri Sadzaglishvili.
