The Prime Minister publishes an open letter

Prime Minister of Georgia has released an open letter. As Irakli Garibashvili writes, Mikheil Saakashvili’s psychological and mental condition before and after his imprisonment has changed radically.

“Probably many of our fellow citizens think about what motivated Mikheil Saakashvili when he planned his provocative arrival in Georgia. Some think that he was obsessed with the thirst for power, selfishness and jealousy of the other leaders of the United National Movement.

Some think he came back with the intention of overthrowing the Government and he was sure he would succeed. There is also a version that it was difficult for him to predict the consequences of his decision due to his heavy drug addiction.

Mikheil Saakashvili’s psychological and mental condition before and after his imprisonment has changed radically. The UNM is worried that their leader is in a difficult situation and demands his immediate release from prison.

This situation of Mikheil Saakashvili was taken seriously by the team, however, they do not know what to do. As for the above versions of his arrival. I consider it absurd that Saakashvili deliberately went to prison and planned it in advance. If he had wanted this, he would not sneaked into the country as a thief and would not have violated the law.

By doing so, he would intensify his own message relating to political imprisonment, while now that he has entered Georgia by committing a new crime, he has weakened this message. Blaming drugs for his illogical decision is also absurd I think”, - wrote the Head of the Government.
