“I would like to express my gratitude once again to all the people who voted in the elections. Special thanks to our supporters, all the people who were involved in the processes from the very first day and supported us as much as possible, in reaching success. Unfortunately, we could not win in the first round, although this is not really a tragedy. The second round awaits us now.

On October 2, we won the local elections. In addition, we won the so-called opposition-declared referendum. Practically 47% of the voters, every second citizen reaffirmed their confidence in our government. Our team will be represented in the Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly by a majority of 29 members. This will allow us to make quick decisions and not hinder the implementation of important projects that our city needs the most. These elections and the so-called referendum are to be completed by October 30. I am sure that this time too, Tbilisians will choose between chaos and development in favor of development.

As you know, the whole pre-election campaign was carried out in such a way that the daily work for the development of the capital did not stop even for a moment. Many important projects that the population has been waiting for are completed. During these four years, my team and I have laid a solid foundation for the development and reconstruction of the city without any problems. Tbilisians see how much work has been put just into moving with regular, clean transport today. Several more tenders have to be completed, some have to be announced, and Tbilisi is guaranteed to have well-regulated, fully developed municipal transport, which is very important”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
